Confidential Barge Project

Milllcreek completed the design of a commodity transloading facility. The project included unit train unloading with stilling shed, storage buildings with stackers and portal reclaimers, enclosed gallery conveyors, on-water barge loading and moorings, zero emission dust controls, zero discharge water treatment and ancillary office, warehouse, and maintenance facilities.  Permitting support included engineering design for species protection, project renderings and agency submittal technical support.

Salt Barge Loading Facility

Millcreek completed the engineering design for a new salt barge loading facility. Our scope included process flow diagrams, P&ID, design criteria, general arrangements, permit application support, equipment selection, and cost estimates.

The project included belt conveying, marine structure design, shoreline protection, and piping. Special materials and construction methods were chosen to protect against the corrosiveness of the salt.
