For electrical power generators, we design and build all aspects of the fuel handling system from the fuel receiving to the bunkers/pulverizing including unit train unloading systems, dust suppression systems, overland coal conveyors, stockpile stacking and reclaiming systems, coal crushing, fuel blending systems, storage silos, and washdown systems with wash water treatment and fine coal reclamation.

Our belt and overland conveyor design experience, coupled with the latest software provides innovative and effective material handling solutions. Our specialized transfer, chute, and skirtboard designs focus to minimize spillage, dust, and wear.

Millcreek Engineering brings particular expertise in dust control, transfer chutes, and washdown in PRB coal conversion. We also design and build the limestone and handling facilities and gypsum handling systems associated with flue gas desulfurization and other emission control systems.

In addition, we design and build ash handling and ash dewatering systems. We also provide mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, and instrumentation design service throughout the generating station.
